Fire and Ice is the fourth episode of the first season of Magi-Nation. It aired on October 13, 2007.
Synopsis[]
Icebergs from the cold region of Nar are freezing the water in Naroom. If it is not fixed soon, it will cause dramatic and catistrophic climate change in Naroom and all of the Moonlands. Orwin travels to Nar to find out the cause.
Plot[]
Icebergs from the cold region of Nar are freezing the water in Naroom. If it is not fixed soon, it will cause dramatic and catistrophic climate change in Naroom and all of the Moonlands. Orwin travels to Nar to find out the cause.
However, Orwin does not return and the icebergs remain in Naroom. Edyn, Tony, and Strag sail a boat to Nar to find their missing friend.
They are attacked enroute and are rescued from their sinking ship. Once on land they discover that Orwin has been frozen by an Icy Sting from a Djarmander. A shadow magi cast a dark spell on the Djarmander to control it. The two shadow magi, Korg and Zed are searching for the Dark Heart, the source of life for Nar.
Tony, Edyn, and Strag borrow some items from Holsted, and get a ride from some Korul's. They ride through a avalanche and arrive where Korg and Zed are directing Garadyn to Cry Out into a bull-horn like relic/device, which amplifies the sound and breaks apart the ice.
Korg and Zed turn the device towards the magi, but before Garadyn can attack, they jump down, breaking the ice.
Tony uses the blast gloves to face off agains the Djarmander. Strag fends off the shadow magi. Edyn rushes to the trail of the Dark Heart to retrieve some to hopefully heal Orwin. The Dark Heart's trail disappears, and Korg and Zed fly off on Garadyn. The Djamander thanks Tony and becomes one of his Dream Creatures. They return to Orwin and Edyn revives him with the power of the Dark Heart, while Tony and Strag return the icebergs to Nar with the help of Holsted.
