Featured Article Status[]

Oh, I just forgot to change that since I got a page done. As for the red links, almost all page has them at the moment. Only 3 article pages are near completion, and I found the one that was best at that moment. The only things that don't are under Help, and those aren't quite Magi-Nation pages, just a separate set of helps. I'll be trying to get some more done in the meantime, but I have a big research paper due the Monday after spring break. If you happen to have more info on Furok's attacks, I might could add that as featured, but I don't feel right about making an article I made myself into a featured article. It still has 5 things it links to that aren't up yet. I also don't like the front page being so blank of featured stuff either.... Ah, well, I'll see what I can do.

Episode Video[]

This is where things get… iffy. The wiki currently does not support video on the articles. The video itself doesn't load any visual on the page on some machines, so it really doesn't serve the full purpose to illustrate the episode. Using a full episode may also be too large a file to load properly for some people.
There's also the "fun" legal side. DHX may have the licensing to upload the episodes, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we do. If we do have the authorization to upload it, the file also has to include the licensing information via template prior to use. We'd pretty much have to use it with permission as fair use doesn't include full episodes.
Most of the time involved in DHX uploading the files is almost certainly the legal side and working with Cookie Jar for permissions (which may or may not involve monetary reimbursements).

The video is simply linked to the YouTube channel which was uploaded by DHX. I sent them an email about it:
- "Just a quick question, would the Magi Nation wiki (http://magination.wikia.com) be legally allowed to embed these videos on the episode page?"

Have you heard back from them on that? As it's been over half a year, I've also sent communication on the matter. The on-site policy will presume that the answer is "no" for this page and other pages unless they directly say otherwise.
